MTA Walkthrough
M112: Moderation Format
Your responsibility and behaviour.
You have to know how you behave, what to do, when to do, and reasoning, and make sure that you're always Professional with your words.
Servers are advised to have things sorted in terms of Moderation logging, and proper procedure that take place on a certain event or incident. Like you can do your moderation action, and then you can log your action, since it's better to keep things in control before logging it into the server after the issue is resolved.

How do you be Professional?

  1. 1.
Make sure you properly punctuate and spell your words correctly.
  2. 2.
Respect others and make sure you're not violating any rules yourself.
  3. 3.
Do things step by step that was provided by your server's guidelines or if there is no guidelines, use DMA or MTA's guidelines.
  4. 4.
Never swear to Members and Users.
  5. 5.
Make your self clear and there shouldn't be any confusion.
Make sure you are doing things in order, and if you do have ModMail, make sure you have a starting and ending message template to tell the User that the ModMail service is ending and that you are done assisting them and things are sorted.

Moderation format is like a guideline that all moderators follow and it's a good way for your moderators to do things properly and log things correctly, since there would be a procedure that the moderator will do when there is a Moderation Format.

As a server you're always advised to be very active and concerned of you moderators, keep things up to date, and make sure you have a proper procedure for everything that might happen.
